Nexus Engineering Services Pty Ltd is a specialised Minerals Processing Engineering consultancy firm with over 35 years of domestic and international experience across many commodity sectors.

As Managing Director, Ian Harmsworth is responsible for all aspects of the business and brings 35+ years of Minerals Processing Engineering experience. Ian's previous experience includes holding senior positions at Australian engineering houses such as Ausenco and Sedgman as well providing client representation services to international miners such as Rosia Montana Gold Corporation and Teranga Gold Corporation.

Ian has extensive experience in the design of coal handling and processing plants (CHPP) as well as primary minerals processing plants including gold (CIL / CIP), copper (flotation) and zinc refining. Additionally, Ian has been involved in Alumina refinery engineering and most recently graphite processing.

Ian has a broad knowledge of all engineering disciplines and takes a particular interest in electrics, instrumentation and control as well as facilitating risk reviews.

Ian holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical) (Hons) from the Queensland Institute of Technology, now known as the Queensland University of Technology.
